I blog about issues, people and things that come into our lives. I enjoy writing and I enjoy activism equally. I love the idea of the niche personal blogging, and I'm interested in the forums on page one. I'm a mother with a focus on her children, but I hate the drudgery of housework and cooking meals. One of my favourite past-times is to start up a conversation with strangers in the street, just to see what they will say. Today a woman told me about cats disappearing in the neighbourhood last fall, and reminded me that killing animals was the first step on the path to becoming a psychopath. I couldn't wait to get home and blog about her and the entire situation.
Check out my blog to see if I am your cup of tea: www.AKAmamma.blogspot.com
I do all my own photography.
I'm looking for someone who can help me find ways to get more eyeballs on my blog.
I didn't log into the forums over the weekend (and I had a 4 day weekend) spending quality time with my son. I've loved catching up with the posts in this area. I've tried to get over and read your blogs and leave comments. Maybe someone wants to be my blog buddy? I know what it's like trying to exercise, a buddy helps wonders.
Blogging at Semantically driven
Hi All,
I've been following the 31DBBB since the first day, but have only just made it onto the forums.
I've enjoyed checking out everyone's personal blogs and have bookmarked several. I am co-author of two blogs, Reading Upside Down - primarily book reviews and chat about books and Oh the Thinks you can Think - a personal blog where we write about thinks that catch our attention, general observations on life and recommendations of places and businesses in our hometown of Newcastle, Australia.
I would love to connect with others with similar blogs. My writing partner Meredith (who is also on these forums somewhere) and myself are SAHMs, but we tend to limit our posts about family where possible - our elevator pitch for Oh the Thinks you can Think - 30-something, Australian, easily distracted.
hi guys
The challenge is making me look close at the topics I am blogging and how I am.
My blog is about inspiring those that live in the outback of Australia where I live, and for those travelling within it.
If there is anyone that wants to be a buddy please contact me
tweeter @robynsoutback or through my blog
@ReadingUpsideDown - I see you reviewed a book written by a colleague of mine - Siew Siang Tay.I like the easily distracted bit in your elevator pitch.
@Roby - another Aussie. Read your post about it raining in Perth. The one time I was there it rained for a whole day.
Good to see a couple of other Aussies in this personal/life category.
Hey all,
I got started late into this project - I'm on day 9 right now.
I recently finished creating my own blog called Focusless. I think it fits best under the 'personal blog' heading, but it's hard to say for sure.
Here's a little description of what you'll find on my blog:
Ridiculous, funny creative writing, absurd DIY projects, entertaining pictures and videos, and awesome, must-hear songs and music playlists. Plus, treat your brain every Friday to the coolest thing you'll learn all week. Choose a category then forget about whatever else you were doing.
It's 'personal' in the sense that it's almost all creative, and hopefully interesting/amusing content that I've generated, or its content from other people that I personally find entertaining or distracting in some way.
This is my first foray into web design and I'm totally new to the blogging community. I'd appreciate any feedback and am definitely open to a link exchange if my blog tickles your fancy. I'm at the stage of trying to build a bigger readership and I think it'd a super swell way to do it would be through collaboration with other personal bloggers.
I'm with you all...I'm a personal blogger and so don't fit neatly into a niche. I write about everything from my personal faith and the application thereof to my detestation of the color orange and the misuse of sprinkles. While I've been blogging for 3 years (seriously for a year and a half), I'm always looking for ways to improve, and could use the help!
Emreruhi - Great name for a blog. I think mine if focusless half the time. My first thought when visiting your blog was that you haven't used pictures for many of your posts yet your blog design kind of requires them. I'd either use images, or remove the default thumbnail thingy from the design.
It's refreshing to see so many other folks stuck in the same niche-less blog arena. Personal blogs are especially hard to quantify since each person is so very unique. I think the one thing we all share in common are our struggles through life and the need to chronicle them.
I joined this project late, but am really seeing benefits from many of its exercises. Granted, some of them are more geared toward blogs with services or products yet there is still value in their approach.
Being a bit disillusioned with my career path, I'm trying to make the change over to my original passions. The blog still has a new car smell, but I'm trying to use it as a focus for keeping me on track with my goals.

Hi..I'm really overwhelmed by the amount of different stuff going on here. I'm new to the forum but I'm sure I'm going to enjoy myself here. Like many of you, I think my blog is more about life...how to live a happy, meaningful and fulfilled life through continual learning, motivation and inspiration. So far, I really enjoy the blogging though there's so much more to learn to become a better blogger. It's just wonderful to meet so many of you here where we can support and help each other. My blog is just about a month old but I have worked very hard on the contents so far. You can view it at http://www.keeplearningkeepsmiling.com. Appreciate all comments for improvement.
Humangirl.com is a personal blog "network" of sorts... and Humangirl Nests is the life blog, with all my wedding/marriage/cat/whatever posts.
This is the first time I've wandered into the collaborations section... I was beginning to think there wasn't anyone here in the personal blogging genre. Glad to find a few of you here.
Cody is Humangirl
I guess I could classify mine as anything under the sun. Check it out and tell me what you guys think

Hey there everyone! I'm Liz and I recently decided to get serious about my blog. I have been blogging on and off for about 3 years now. However, I just moved over to Wordpress. My blog concentrates on self- improvement through list building, goal setting, budgeting, saving and making money. I'd love to colaborate with a few like minded people.
Regardless I'd love some constructive feed back. Click my username to get to my blog, and here is my email, elizabethmh59@gmail.com
Thanks!
My blog is evolving. I started out to grand my pseudonym and have some anomynity to post personal essays. Now it's more personal development. I love it when I get into humor, that is I would like to more. XD
I am enjoying this tremendously and would love to have a buddy.
I reread what I posted here a month ago and I realise I didn't really say much about my blog. My elevator pitch:
Ethiopia is a great place to be. As a non-Ethiopian who has lived most of his life in the country I have the opportunity of seeing Ethiopia through a unique lens. This blog is my take on life in Ethiopia. It talks about what’s great and what’s not. What happens and what could have happened. The changes that are taking place and the things that seem to stay the same forever. Things that I find wonderful and those I just don’t understand. This blog is for anyone who lives in Ethiopia, has lived in Ethiopia, is thinking about living in Ethiopia or just wants to know more about Ethiopia.
I'm not sure if this is a niche topic or more a personal blog, but the fact is that there really aren't many blogs on Ethiopia. So I'm not sure who I can team up with. I blog about geeky stuff, Ethiopian facts and stories, personal experiences... It doesn't really fit neatly into anything :( My blog is new, only 2 months old, but is slowly gaining momentum. Feedback welcome :) Have a good day, David K
@JB: Nice to see you here. Have subscribed to your blog and am enjoying it :)
I'm a young father of a baby girl, and I blog about my life in Malaysia. Like David K, I'm not really sure that my blog fits in any particular niche. I'm open to collaborating (and scheming!) with anyone of you who have "personal life" themed blogs. Visit my blog, Adino Online. Hope to hear from you!
Hello Everyone,
