  2. Hi folks, my blog and products are for the "digital immigrant" demographic (that's anyone over about 25, basically, who didn't grow up with social media), and I teach online content from the writer's perspective (I'm a published author). We can benefit from many different collaborations - they don't need to be in the same genre we're blogging about at all! I think the important thing is to find creative ways to support each other's blogs and increase our visibility mutually.

I would love to collaborate with a number of different bloggers:

Anyone interested in engaging the "baby boomer" audience.

    Entrepreneurial types.

    Writers who are entering blogging.

Professional-type websites, from realtors to doctors to marketing professionals to lemonade stands.

People who want to develop products that teach aspects of communication.

People who are into multi-media, video & audio, and want to teach it.

Anyone who enjoys my writing - we can make creative connections that are relevant to our readerships.

I'll be looking at as many of your blogs as I can, and feel free to contact me.

  3. Sharronhh / Shanehudson, I would consider it an honor to work/learn from you since I am a published author and I remind others how to stay focused on progressing in life.

Sharron, I love your site, thought my current NEW site for blogging is not there yet I will be posting some motivational shorties I have written.

I am so glad I joined Darren's blog. I am learning so much from all my class mates.

  4. Darren, wanted to say since you are way to busy to recall EVERYTHING  the very least we all can do is SAVE the URL so we can follow the bread crumbs back here to join our class members.

On our way to being PRObloggers,  (or just better) we should be able to find our way back to class. (sent myself an email to all the places you have us go to.) We all should be computer literate by now to get IN HERE....on our own.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK DARREN. !!!  I am sure you are not sweating the small stuff...finding the URL shoudl be very small stuff.  Thank you.

    YOU ARE AWESOME D.

  5. The blog I am working on is a lifestyle mag for women.  It covers home, beauty, health, food, travel and lots more.  The target is women 25-50.  Most readers are working women, so far.  We don't cover anything baby related.

I would love to connect with bloggers who would like to contribute to the mag and raise their profile.

  9. This is more of a challenge to me as I am quite a solitary writer - I also don't think I have a particularly popular subject area in which I'd be likely to find someone writing about similar things - basically I focus on my work (social worker) and particularly mental health.

I have some contacts that I might try reconnecting with though - there are a few blogs of similar type things and we have been emailing a little between ourselves informally.

I agree that having someone to discuss various issues with is a great motivator and can lead to some really useful collaborations.

  10. Day 15 lesson is the most important for serious bloggers. Whose of you did not read the "The Lesson from Geese" yet I will  request them please go back and read this lesson first. Try to understand what Darren tried to mean by that example. To implement his lesson in my blog I am asking all of members of 31DBBB if you have any cell phone related site without phone reviews and phone news, than you can link with me. Any of you can visit my blog because it is a product which are used by all.

  11. @Suzzanabrain I think that I come close to blogging for the same demographic as you but within the hospitality arena. I help hotels, restaurants & cafes utilise social media to connect with their customer, as well as NLP communication tools. So perhaps we have some crossover there?

Also I am looking for a blog buddy who writes from the customer/guest perspective to give the other side of the coin perspective. So please connect with me if you like to stay in hotels, eat in restaurants and have some ideas about how you would like such businesses to interact with you.

    Cheers,

    Tracy

  13. As a motivational trainer/speaker, I do encourage others constantly to follow their dreams; it gives me joy to see people succeed. Having said that, I need to spend more time adding to my relatively new blog inbetween  - life's demands. I'm happy to connect, collaborate, support. Walk through my orange door and say hello. I'd love to meet you!

Hmmm.. I was just thinking that it would be great if we could send quick messages to each other within the forum format... or have a notify me added - will send note to Lara.

    Cheers!

  16. I think the idea of finding a blogging buddy is great. Working infront of the PC can be a lonely business and having someone to bounce ideas and brainstorm with would be useful.

My blog is about stock trading and my journey toward becoming a full-time trader

    http://atticman.blogspot.com

Would be great to hook up with likeminded individuals

(By the way if you visit the blog, you'll see I just compiled and posted my first 'list' "10 greatest trading books ever written". I tweeted it and had over 40 page views in 30 minutes!

    Thx Darren!!

  18. I guess I'm sending out an S.O.S for a buddy.  I'm blogging about my journey through a year of religions.  I'm a single girl in my early 30's and I just got a dog.  I'm currently participating in Buddhism and Judiaism.  I write from an everyday perspective in this dense, dense topic.   I'm a tiny, tiny little blog right now.  Looking for a friend who could also give me advice on how to add things, HTML to my little interweb abode.

    Thanks,

    Anna

  19. Hi all: Looking to connect with people in who blog about country living, small farming, and/or country gardening, or even any kind of gardening. My blog is http://countrygardener.blogspot.com/ and I've been at that since 2006. I basically do the blog for fun, and a gardening info website, www.flower-gardening-made-easy.com, which is more of a commercial venture. You'll find my email at my blog, and a contact form at my website.

  21. Ik zoek een nederlandstalige blogbudy!!

    Hi everybody,

I'm sorry for the little part in Dutch, I don't want to be rude.  But I'm looking for people here who are blogging in Dutch.  I just put my question here in my own language to make in stand out.

I really love the challenge and I am working very hard to keep up.  I'm rather new in blogging so I am getting a lot of new material to digest and explore. I am blogging about coaching, inner growth, ... on http://praktijkmariposa.wordpress.com .  My other blog is about weightloss (the mind-part of it) and is even newer then the first one: http://www.slankzonderstrijd.be

  22. well - here goes.  My blog fits into that strange category, the "personal blog".  But really, in my blog I share everything interesting or beautyful that I find. This includes mostly - books and book reviews - young adult, fantasy, and children's books.  Animation, Illustration and anything else that can be considered art.  I also blog about more intelectually challenging topics that I face as a teacher.  Any synergy out there?

  26. I would love to collaborate with any interested party.  I figured that the best way to tell you about my blog is with my Elevator Pitch that I learned on Day 1:

J.M.A. Daily is an informational blog dedicated to providing non-technical readers with technical how to articles. Technical experts can also improve their knowledge base by learning tips and tricks within their area of expertise. Although the majority of articles are based on typical end-user technologies, we do not believe in limitations. Once in a while our writers like to express their opinions on current major news stories that we feel need to be addressed for various reasons, or any topic that a reader may be interested in learning more about. We believe in reader satisfaction.

  27. I run a blog about men's lifestyle/entertainment. It is still growing and I'm still experimenting with subject matter and the like, but overall it focuses around men. It is at http://www.heavenlydevils.com

Anyone care to e my buddy? New ideas welcomed!

  28. Hey everyone,

Skimmed down all the posts and couldn't find exactly the buddy I need. Maybe someone can help me out!

I am an artist and I am writing a blog about art making as a journey. I post my own art, which is sculpture and most recently encaustic painting. I post techniques and calls for artists also. I write about art marketing and basically living the artistic life with as much humor and balance as possible.

I have found lots of encaustic painters recently but all of them seem to be pretty established bloggers and I am not sure if I can ask them for the help. One of my main goals behind blogging is to support other artists as well as myself. I think a sense of community is very important, so I am trying to build in my blog.

Any artists want to be my Blog Buddy! I will promise to make it entertaining!

Please check out my blog at http://jaimelyerly.blogspot.com

    Thanks! Jaime Lyerly

  29. Maybe it's just my connection this morning, but I'm having trouble getting some of the women, writers and gardening links to go through.  But the ones that I did get through are exciting.  It's great to know that there are so many options for connections out there.  Still don't have a blogging buddy BUT I did create a personal challenge for the next 10 weeks that will help me increase my unique visitors and monetize my blogs.

  30. @targetstars

Sounds like there's some synergy with my company blog www.jbsh.co.uk where I'm helping entrepreneurs and innovators grow their business.

Having someone to bounce ideas off, and to bounce ideas off me, will really help develop new posts and encourage me to complete the drafts that I've got kicking around.

    :)
