  1. I'm a Mom blogger!  I am a SAHM to 4 kids, ranging in age from 17 to 3 months.  My main blogging focus is reviews, but I also blog about important issues surrounding kids from infants to teens.  I love participating in Memes and Carnivals too that are relevant to my niche.

I'm going to start visiting all of your sites.  May be a little slow in getting there as I'm a little under the weather today, but definitely look for me to pop in. :)

  2. Hi everyone! I am a married, SAHM/WAHM of 3 children-12, 7 and 6, and a mommy to four furry beasts. I have been blogging for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. I am looking to eventually profit from my blog and would love a blogging buddy. I am also in the process of establishing a local blogging community for support, as no one I know personally is a blogger. So, having those goals in mind, I decided to take Darren's 31 Day Challenge. I blog at MrsChattypants and am looking to create a logo and a more professional look. Basically, I'm a mommy blogger. I blog about my life as a mom, my family and how current events influence my family and the decisions we make. I also work from home in the customer service indutstry and was an elementary school teacher and sometimes blog about those topics as well. I am looking forward to reading everyone's blog and getting to know you all as well.

  4. Hi everyone, sorry I'm so late joining the game, I totally forgot about the forums that were set up as part of the 31 day challenge.  Are you guys enjoying this as much as I am (despite my being behind by four days)?

My name's Elizabeth, and my blog is Type A Mommy.  I blog about motherhood - I'm a SAHM to a fourteen month old boy who is very, very busy - and I also blog about cooking, baking, books I read, and anything else that crosses my mind. I started my blog back in January.  I used to do a lot of creative writing, and ever since my kiddo was born, I've kind of lost track of that, so my blog was my attempt to reconnect with that part of myself.  So far, I'm really enjoying it.

  6. I'm noticing people's favorite "mommy blogs" listed here are mostly blogs that talk about life with kids.  What about an educational blog where you can learn a few parenting tips? I haven't been able to find many, but would love to look at some others. Can you point me towards those? You can find tips at mine, Child Perspective: raising better parents and happier kids.

  7. Emily, I have parenting tips on my blog, along with personal tales, on my blog, if you'd like to check it out. I try to post at least as many informative posts as I do personal posts. My blog is Writer Mom at Home. I've gotten a chance to check your blog out a bit-- great information. I'll swing back over when I have a chance to really read through some more of your posts. :)

I blog at Writer At Home and Writer Mom at Home. Can't wait to connect!

  8. Emily, I like your blog, it is well written and easy on the eyes.  I write about a variety of things, some parenting tips included.  It has been mostly breastfeeding advice but plan on growing my blog now (I wasn't putting much into in until recently).

In fact, all of these mom blogs are great!  Glad to have the company :)

  9. Emily, my blog is about raising good kids - kids with compassion, integrity, and charavter (my elevator pitch). My most recent post, though, is a little off topic because I was doing someone a favor to post about drinking more milk :) There is a link on the post to download latte recipes. http://www.adventuresinparenting.org/

    Your site looks great.

  11. Hi there Mamas,

I just posted a great idea for Mother's Day. You can either do it for your own mom/mother in law, or you can forward it to your husband and pray that he takes a hint!  ; )

  12. @Alison Kerr - thanks so much for the feed back.  I know the look of the blog probably needs some work but have not been able to find the time yet.  I have to admit that I'm embarrassed that I don't have a contact me link - I'll get right on that!  As for the link to other pages idea, I TRY to remember to do that occassionally but I know I don't do it enough.  I'm hoping the "sneeze page" assignment will at least help.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by and give me some pointers.  I have to say that I LOVE the title to your blog - just hope it's not as off the wall as the movie ;)).

I've been having a great time reading through all your blogs - been doing more reading than blogging, whoops!

  15. how did I miss this? I am a mom blogger as well, I have been blogging for about 4 years, not all in the 'mom blog' arena though. I was mainly in small business and niche blogging, with a lot of inspiration from Darren.  I have been making an income from blogging for about 3 years now.  I had several blogs going but decided to sell them when I got pregnant with my daughter (8months old) and focus on my main blog now- confessions of a housewife (in siggy) That freed up a lot of time, a big income cut but I was able to sell them for about 6 months worth of income each, so I am just now feeling the pinch!  I love blogging and meeting new people, and getting active in the 'mom blog' community has been great!  I am in the process of launching a new blog specifically for mom bloggers, I have a great co-blogger and am so exited! Until then, chck out my blog, I have a contest going on right now for a 60 dollar gift card to Lorilie Designs and a cute mug!

I will be adding yall to my feed reader tomorrow- I gotta hit the sack now! :-)

  16. Hi everyone,

I am a SAHM with a 5 year old and 16 month old twins. I started my blog to try to build a community for Christian parents of special needs children. My oldest is somewhere on the autism spectrum (no one agrees exactly where). I don't get much writing time (too busy momming) and I am working through the challenge very slowly in order to make myself do every assignment, so I've reached this forum rather late, but if anyone is interested I'd love to buddy up!

  17. Hi

I'm not sure if I'm coming in way after everyone else as I got this course all completed as opposed to one  day at a time.

I am a mother of 6 (Grandma of 2) youngest being 12. My niche is teaching parents and early educators the immportance of doing what I call Educational Art. This is art and arts and crafts that is not copycat crafts but teaches kids to think, solve problems, be creative, independent, raise self esteem all through art. (I am also a part time portrait photographer in NY www.faigetimelessportraits.com)

I am trying to make a buisness out of this  educational art stuff but I wonder as I started blogging if my niche is too tight and narrow.(especially for blogging and I see how so many of you cover so many topics)

I came to this forum as it was suggested in 31 days to try to find a partner. I'm still not sure how one goes about that.

I just picked up on blogging after having started and stopping a while back, am finding the 31 day course excellent but still am trying to find my path.

  18. Hello all,
